Kiwassee Kiwanis Club of Midland
Helping Kids Thrive!
We are volunteers helping kids lead better lives.
Kiwassee Kiwanis Club members give generously of their time and resources to help children, youth, and adults in our community and beyond.
We collaborate with schools, hospitals, nonprofits, businesses, foundations and others for larger impact.
One hundred percent of the funds raised by our three annual fundraisers goes directly to support the work of these organizations.
Our weekly meetings create an opportunity for fellowship and introduce members to the array of community opportunities for youth.
You will find our members out and about all year long. Support the efforts Kiwassee Kiwanis Club of Midland.
Local Service Projects
Our members participate in the Midland Blooms Event each May; Highway clean up through the Adopt a Highway Program; Sponsoring the Dow High School Key Club; and the AKtion Club of Midland. Our club focuses on community initiatives and children-centered projects, striving to uplift local children by fostering growth and empowerment for a brighter future.
Fundraisers & Scholarships
We conduct 3 Fundraisers that allow us to direct about $20,000 annually for ongoing programs by providing supplies and materials, support for program staff or scholarships needed to allow some youth to participate in a program. Camps, tutoring, playgrounds or a scholarship for school fees so a student in Muko, Uganda can achieve their educational dream.
Community
Kiwassee Kiwanis meets weekly for lunch and a program. Not only is this a time for fellowship but we are introduced to community leaders while learning about our community assets. As a club we can learn where and how to contribute to improve the lives of children and the community.
